One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, “How can I improve my note reading?” The answer to that is pretty much the answer to every other question about getting good at something – practice!
Here’s a new app, created by my friend Patrick, that will make note and rhythm practice fun, because it’s made as a game. Based on the arcade games of the 1980s, NoteBlaster helps you train then test your note reading and rhythm skills. It’s a lot of fun, and the basic levels are free. You can upgrade to the more advanced levels for a very low price. I think it is worth the investment of time, and like I said, it’s also fun! You get to shoot notes!
Here’s a video that shows you a quick peek at the game.
